I'm Joe & i'm a wedding photographer based in Manchester. That's me above on my wedding day.

I love weddings. Everything about them. The anticipation, the excitement, the emotion, the party! Weddings are huge fun. You have A LOT to look forward to.

I love to get in amongst it & tell the story of your day. It’s really important to me that you’re left with a set of photographs that you love & that takes you back to your wedding time & again. I want to capture the real stuff. This allows you to actually be at your wedding rather than stuck with a photographer for hours away from your friends & family, missing all the good stuff! I want you to be in the middle of it. I want to photograph you having the best day ever.

I promise I will make that happen. Of course we’ll shoot some awesome stuff of the two of you along the way, but I won’t take ages & we’ll do it at the right time FOR YOU on the wedding day so you don’t miss out of what’s happening elsewhere.

I see it as a privilege to be involved in your wedding day. I try to take photos that show emotion and show people being people, in a documentary style. I'm based in Manchester but shoot weddings all over the UK & will travel anywhere you'd like me to go. From bridal prep through to your first dance & beyond, i'll look for & work hard to capture all those moments that make your wedding day unique & special to you. I don’t clock watch or limit my full-day coverage to a set number of hours.

Family first. When i’m not working, I spend pretty much every moment with my lovely lot pictured below. My boy Charlie is 7 & young Anna 4 (& three quarters apparently). This means time spent at the beach, collecting sticks, playing with trains, toy cars & dinosaurs & reading stories. Also lots of mithering them to eat vegetables, clean their teeth & say please & thank you.

I love: going to new places, taking photographs, camping, Glastonbury, running, exploring, Indian food, taking my babies out on the back of my bike, vinyl ,collecting photo frames, Springsteen, The National, the seaside & being a Dad.
